You need to read a script in its entirity before you commit to buing a licence.

Our perusal copies are FREE - just go to the contact page, fill in the form saying which script you would like and it will be emailed to you.

1 A ‘Licence to Perform’ obtainable only from LOZ KEAL, must be acquired for every public or private performance of a script - and the appropriate royalty paid. If extra performances are arranged after a Licence has already been issued, it is essential that LOZ KEAL be informed immediately and the appropriate royalty paid, whereupon an amended Licence will be issued.

2 The availability of this script does not imply that it is automatically available for private or public performance, and LOZ KEAL reserves the right to refuse to issue a ‘Licence to Perform’, for whatever reason. Therefore a Licence should always be obtained before any rehearsals start.

3 All LOZ KEAL scripts are fully protected b y the copyright acts. Under no circumstances may they be reproduced by photocopying or any other means, either in whole or in part, without the written permission of LOZ KEAL.

4 The Licence referred to above only relates to live performances of this script. A separate Licence is required for videotaping or sound recording of a LOZ KEAL script, which will be issued on receipt of the appropriate fee.

5 This script comes with no licence to use any music whatsoever. The song suggestions in the script are just that - suggestions; choose your own and then contact the Performing Rights Society on www.prsformusic.com to arrange a licence.

6 All LOZ KEAL scripts must be played in accordance with the script and no alterations or cuts should be made without the prior consent of LOZ KEAL. This restriction does not apply to minor changes in a pantomime and there is already a facility for inserting local and topical references.

7 The name of the author shall be stated on all publicity, programmes etc. ‘Written by Loz Keal’ or ‘Script by Loz Keal’. It is a condition of the licence that 2 complimentary tickets be made available to LOZ KEAL or his agents for the final performance upon request.
